Rabbi Yona Krainess

Rabbi Yona Krainess currently serves as the Director of Instructional Technology and Data at the Hillel Yeshiva and is an educational consultant. As an educational consultant, he uses data to inform curriculum development and improve student outcomes. His expertise in analyzing student data allows him to identify strengths and weaknesses in educational programs, and provide tailored curricular solutions that help schools and districts achieve their goals. Additionally, he organized, oversaw, and managed a Summer Institute that served over 35 Schools over a span of 5 years. He presented at the ISTE: Jewish Day School Educational Innovator Summit at the National Museum of American Jewish History in Philadelphia and the Prizmah conference in Atlanta. He is an ordained rabbi and holds dual masters degrees in School Building Leadership and Speech and Language Pathology.

Ms. Sara Schonfeld

Ms. Sara Schonfeld currently works as an educational consultant and Literacy Specialist in Jewish day schools and Yeshivos. She designs, integrates, and aligns comprehensive curriculum, customized to national and state standards. Sara also coordinates curriculum review projects, where she works with school leaders to analyze data across content areas in order to develop instructional plans to close student achievement gaps. She leads and presents at professional development conferences, hosts think tanks, and coaches educators on a wide range of topics such as literacy, educational technology, and student-centered pedagogy. Sara is also an adjunct professor and guest lecturer in graduate school programs. She holds masters degrees in School Leadership and Literacy as well as multiple certifications in education, special education, and technology.
